I was looking at a 1988 issue of Guns magazine this evening, and in the magazine was a pair of customized mausers by Jay Mcammet. They appeared to be left hand military mausers (e.g they had the thumb cut on the right hand side of the action, and the bolts were on the left side of the action) Has anyone here ever seen a true left handed military mauser action?

Unless they were custom machined actions, I would assume that the photo negatives were reversed.

Have a left-hand bolt Mauser 98 with right-hand eject. Does not have the thumb cut. Have been told this one is from the factory, not an after-market modification. But don't really know.
