Our shop has received a M43 Spanish 98 re-barreled to 22-250. It has matching # bottom metal. No follower or spring. Customer request is to make it feed 22-250. I have ordered Ruger mk2 follower, spring, and mag spacers. Any other suggestions before I engage?

Spanish 43s are like any other 8mm 98, only usually rougher finished, and usually feed 22-250 as is. I would never choose one for a custom build, but you already have it.

I know it's a slightly different caliber but I had an 09 action I did in 250 Savage and all I did was install and chamber the barrel and it fed great from the stock mag setup. I thought beforehand I would have needed a mag block and associated parts but no I didn't. Sadly someone else wanted it more than me.
