450 Marlin
Hey fella's I have something that I might find the answer for here, How difficult do you think building a 450 Marlin on a M48 action would be? how much work would it be to make it feed well? do you think the action would hold up? Later,

feeding will be the only hurdle. remember, this is nothing but the 458 american 2", with a higher (up the case) belt.

do I think the action will hold up? that depends onthe loader roflmao I've seen guys that could blow up a tank...

fun project, i think

Thanks for the thoughts! I have a good feeling that from what I have heard about this catridge I don't think I would like the hotter side of the loading. This should be a great brush rifle and should make the hogs a bang flop issue. Later,

We made one on a classic short action and it worked out very well. Hotter than a hot 45-70, close to the starting loads for a Winnie and the hogs they do die well!
