Picked up a double heat treated Armory NRA Sporter, minty but with a 1903A3 barrel. For years have had squirreled away a brand new 1935 original Sporter barrel, but without its front sight. A regular 1903 sight and band appear to be the right size, but the finish does not match the barrel. I need someone who can install e barrel and fit and refinish the front sight assembly. All this old metal is precious of course, so it has to be done so the rig looks the way the Armory would have done it seventy years ago.

wow, double heat treated springfield would have me going all semi-custom thinking about the ruger line of cartridges maybe. I'm glad you've got it Smiler

wow, surprised nobody answered. I'd talk to Michael Petrov as I'm sure he knows who does the "restore" type work on them.
