Changing a M 70 striker spring...

Any real tricks I should know before I dissasemble the firing pin to remove and put in a new Wolff spring?

I have a washer with a notch cut in it, so it looks like a U, clamp the washer in a vise and push the firing pin spring into the U to hold it while you compress the spring to remove the retainer. Do the same thing for reassembly.
