A mauser action shotgun followed me home a while back.. Geha made a ton of them and info I have found indicates that they were most common in 12 and 16 ga with a few 20 ga guns made. The gun I have has the name A Janot on the receiver ring On the left side there is some lettering that I can't read followed by the word Nice. It is a GEW 98 action. From the measurements I have taken it appears to be a 32 gauge. Anyone have any info about these guns ?

Pretty good info here:

http://texastradingpost.com/mi...6%20%26%2020%20gauge.

A Janot may have been the maker and/or gunsmith.

The gun I have is NOT a Geha. Yes it is likely made by Janot. That is the info I'm looking for
