Your thoughts on this 1903 trigger guard? What style of engraving would this fall into?
I was thinking of having my engraver use a similar style on the front sight band, forward barrel band & the facing surface of the Lyman 48 rear sight.

I have looked at this engraved guard and would guess that it is some Mexican cowboy style. It looks to be cut real heavy like some of the Western cowboy leather.
