Here are more pics of the San Diego rifle. I will post a link to my album next week as it will have all the photos I've taken of the rifle.

Here's the knob.

By the way, seven hours to design, layout and engrave the pattern on the knob.

Roger, as usual the work is beyond words. That last picture could have been a bit more to the right, I want to see the action. Great work

Was this done with a hammer and chisel or with a hand graver?

Beautiful work.

Top Shelf as always Roger. Nice pattern that departs from the norm in a most pleasing manner. I, and I'm sure others never get tired of seeing your work.

You have to quit posting all of these photos on this site because otherwise I am not going to have any choice but to beg, steal, get a part time job, or quit drinking in order to have you do a bit of this beautiful work on a rifle or two of mine. Absolutely exquisite!!!!

I especially like the "nick and dot" work.

Beautiful simply beautiful.

I really like the treatment on the skeleton grip cap. Awesome!

I too do not tire of seeing your work. As someone looking at having some engraving done it just makes it harder to decide where to stop.

You are going to get me in trouble with the wife yet.

Keep it up ... I like building my browny points back up

Fantastic work Roger....

I imagine the stockmakers hands will sweat when putting that cap back on on the grip..I know mine sure would!

Superb work...as always. Really like the treatment on the screw heads for the grip cap, similar to some of the filing I've seen from some of the bladesmiths. Someday I want to engrave as well as you, but you have too much head-start on me...I can't catch up

Seven hours hey? So, about $35.00?

Very tastefull, considerably more decorative than checkering although I don't think I could put that much checkering coverage on in the same time. How come all you artistes live south of God's country?

Roger, I can't add anything "extra" to the comments above about the beauty of these things, but I would like to thank you for posting pictures of your work. One of the things I really appreciated about JB was his willingness to share his work in pictures. While I'll never be able to do something like you've posted here, it sure is inspiring. Especially those shots that are progressions of your work.

Thanks, again....

WOW ! AGAIN !

I had a "Discussion" at the club the other night. About "Modern Craftsmen can't match the work done in the OLD DAYS"
Well you just won the argument for me. I'll print a pic. of Your Bolt Knob, ( if you don't mind ) and take Great Pleasure, in putting it up on the Club wall.
