One of Us

| I have found the Weaver QRW's to be very repeatable, not as Kool as my German claw mounts, but very effective. |

| There are a whole host of European QD mounts - they are almost the standard over here. I'll just name a few: claw mounts (very expensive and tricky), Blaser swing mount (comes in two different forms, 1 and 2 piece), Blaser saddle mount (R93 and other current Blaser guns), EAW (as discussed elsewhere), Steyr (for Steyr-Mannlicher rifles only, I think, very elegant), Sauer (a copy of the EAW as far as I know), new Mauser mounts for M03, Sako QD Optilocks etc etc. The list is as long as the list of guns ever made in Europe As pointed out in the EAW thread, European mounts tend to be higher than US mounts, and usually quite a bit more expensive. Usually quality is good, though. - mike |
