Stainless 416 will rust � just the process is much slower with all high Chromium/Nickel alloys. So if you accelerate the process with for example Oxynate N0. 84 it should work.

Turnbull's not the only guy doing case coloring. There are a plethora of people doing high quality metal finishing. Turnbull does very, very good work, but not necessarily the best. Just the best press.

Some of the best color case I've seen has come out of Buck Hamlin's shop.
