| You need to add Paulownia. It is a very stiff closed grain and very lightweight wood. First saw it on Arnold Jewell's BR rifle several years ago. His was a carbon fiber laminate. It may rival balsa for weight. |

| I remember weighing a Mauser composite, I think it was a Bell and Carlson, and was surprised it weighed several ounces more than my cherry wood stock. |
