I've got a friend that has a few actions he's trying to sell and is looking for fair prices.

Any ideas?

Since no one else will answer, they are worth about $20 each, I'll take them all. Have him ship them my way.rotflmo

Don is trying to rip you off. I'll go $50. To be honest I really don't have an answer. I'm a more of a buy the used rifle and sell what I don't need kind of guy. Actions are normally the left over that I keep.

As usual just my $.02

I haven't been to a gun show recently and since most of my work is with military contract Mausers, I don't have much idea what these actions are worth. Anybody know what the new MRC actions are going for? The Sako with the round top is kind of interesting. I've got a medium 308 size Sako like this. Don't see many without the dovetails. I think Browning used these for their rifles years back. Put a decent bolt handle, some fake square bridges, custom bottom metal and a tang safety and it would make a nice custom job. I saw some Sako rifles for sale for around $750. I'm guessing the actions might go for at least $100 more than the MRC. It's a different class of action. Any thoughts?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
