What parts are interchangeable? Can the stocks and bottom metal be changed between the two? Scope bases?

Thanks!

Stocks are different at the rear tang. A 7-700 trigger interferes with the rear receiver screw on a 600.

Will the various 3-pos. safeties from Gentry or Lapour or whomever for the 7-700s work on the 600s? I have a 600 action and most other parts to build an U/L 22" barreled 7-08 backpacking rifle, but, I am used to the Mod. 70 safeties and would like to put one on the 600 rifle.

Yes they will work. I put one on my Grandson's rifle. I used the PT&G.
