Recently thoughts of improving a 30/338 that I have, and possibly do some longer range shooting has crossed my mind. The rifle has a McMillan h/br stock, a Hart barrel and it pillar bedded. I was thinking of sleeving the action and trueing/ blueprinting. The barrel is 32in so losing a little wont hurt anything. The local smith does very good work, he put it together and it does shoot well now.He doesn't have a lot of accuracy experience but he does does good work and is fussy with his work wanting a quality product. We have talked it over and he is unsure about what to charge, so here we are, we decided to put it here and you tell us... thanks for any help...

With a barrel that long you might want to consider a barrel block to take the strss and strain off the receiver.
