I picked up a few of these and need the set screw size that is under the front sight. Tried 6-32, 6-40, and 6-48 with no luck. Could these be metric?
Thanks for any help.

I don't know but I would doubt it is metric. If it were it would be easy to change it. Just redrill and tap to something common. Before doing anything, I might try something in a size 5. Perhaps 5x44.

Thanks for the replys.

Tried a 5-40, it works but a loose fit and a 6-40 catches 1 thread. On the underside of the ramp. the ID of the band in marked in milimeters 15.5. Thats what made me think metric set screw. I won these at an auction years ago, billed as Dakota Banded Ramps, they are well machined similar to the NECG ramps but more contoured.
Now I just have to find something in a M3.5 that fits.
Thanks again for the help.

If they were mine, I would retap them to something usable.
