On an unmodified 30/06 Pre64, does someone know the following measurements:

1. distance between front/rear bridge(port length)

2. distance between rear edge of feed ramp... back to rear edge where the bottom port ends.

1.) 3.14"

I'll go measure one of mine real quick to get #2 for you.

I converted 3.14" to metric,=79.75mm

But If my records are correct, the current 30/06crfM70 has a 79mm top port length....but, I was always under the impression that the pre64 was a slightly shorter action than the new CRF by about .125"?(3.175mm) meaning the p64 would have an anticipated top port length of around 76mm?
I Will have to try and confirm both new&old reciever measures to remove doubt.
