I would like to know what the Remington Sendero Stainless Fluted(.300 WinMag) Barrel Contour is in relation to a Douglas or Shilen(ie #5.5 or #6). Would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you, Matt.

As far as I know, the Sendero, Varmint, Police, etc, are all 5.5's.

Go to Dan Lilja's website. He has a chart showing all the dimensions of the various contours.I think it's www.riflebarrels.com

Shilen has an exact match to the Remington Sendero and Varmit contour , contour # 17.
