Wow!
This has got Granite Mountain beat in many ways.

Wonder what the price is?

Could it possibly come in a 0.750" bolt diameter? I missed any discussion of bolt diameter and action length as I feverishly copied the files. Will go back and look again.

Thanks for sharing this dream action info. It is certainly on my wish list now, right beside a biggie from Granite Mountain. thumb

RIP,

they make a 19mm bolt dia. in their No:6 action. All others from size 1-5 are 16.5mm bolt Dia.
I have handled one of his No:1 (.223rem)actions, quite a dandy little unit.

I have been imagining one for a mountain rifle for awhile now ie: No:3 action .270win, Full Ti Reciever & Ti bottom metal with integral rings.

I've been trying [off and on] to get ahold of Harre actions for more than a year with no luck. Any leads would sure be welcome.

Nickudu and RIP,

Thanks again for some fantastic material.

Now, isn't this one more reason to resurrect the Nickudu files? Please, please consider this request beer

Good hunting, gentlemen!

I thought Harre close down 2 or 3 years ago.

I recall some discussion about Harre selling out to someone who wanted to move manufacturing to the USA.

Are they still in business?

woodjack:
That email address is clearly incomplete - there is something missing between '@' and '.co'

Could be 'xtra' or 'ihug' which are two of the major ISPs in NZ. Could be something else, too, of course - I don't pretend to know the name of every ISP in the country - but give those a try. (with NO inverted commas around the names)
