The Dakota will give you about 9grs of capacity and headstamped brass.

One more try

I converted one to the 416 AR... swapped the box for a mkII, opened the ramp, windowed the box, holds 3 down, no problem.

the AR is a shortened and improved 375 RUM case

Thanks Jeff. I think my biggest questions you probably answered which were 1. Can the magazine be made to hold more than one round after chambering the first and 2. Does the bolt face have to be modified?

should hold about 3 down, fairly easily, bolt face MIGHT but probably won't, need to be modified.

got it from brownells.. ruer mkII .. 7rem mag/300 win mag box
