I was at the Guild Show in Reno this past January.

Anybody know if the show has a disciplinary action?

Please tell me and privately would be a lot better (use the PM feature) why you would even bring this up in a public forum?

Maybe I am just in one of my moods but this irritates me.

No identifying information about you at all and your first post is to report on this type of thing. EDITED names taken out as requested. What irks me is things like this being aired here, and by parties not directly involved.

You should have taken this to the Guild while you were there, they have procedures for this type of thing if both people are members. You could have gone to the guy and told him that you thought it was inappropriate.

Taking the time to find a forum and sign up just to make a fuss and try to cause problems seems like a pretty petty little thing to do.

I think that if the concern were innocent and in the spirit of what is best for the gun trade and the guild itself you would have not given details and names here but asked simply if anybody knew of the disciplinary procedures of the ACGG.

Kieth Heppler is a very accomplished custom stock maker. Photographs of his work have been published in many publications.

I too was at the guild show. I did not witness the incident, but had dealings with both Heppler and Dressel at the show. Both parties were courteous, friendly, and a pleasure to talk with. For what its worth.

I am sorry for any offense that I may have caused other Guild members. My intentions were not to hurt the Guild.
My concern was with MR.'s behavior and
although it remains inappropriate to publicly threaten & curse someone, I will pull my message. **If you have posted a response to my original message that included his name or the other, please, edit it out. Again, I did not mean to offend anyone. I did mean to call to
attention behavior that is inappropriate & VERY PUBLIC.

didn't catch the post before it was deleted but I have met a few folks in my time that were badly in need of a cussin.

As far as deserving a cussin', I will say there are some times when something innocent could cause quite a disagreement. I can only imagine the words that Chic would have used on me 2 years ago had I suggested that he use Claro or Maple for anything other than firewood. Smiler

Stock284,
The incident did not go unnoticed at the guild show. I am sure that it has been or will be addressed. Now lets put this to bed.
