I have a 280 remington mtn.rifle that I was Thinking of having rebarreled to 9.3 x 62. Will this bolt work for that case head dia.?

Should not be an issue. The specs are .470 & .473. I have 06 brass in the .467 range. If for some reason it was you can always make your brass from 06.

As usual just my $.02

One of my 9.3x62's was a custom FN 30-06 that I had Cliff LaBounty rebore. It required no other work and feeds/functions beautifully.

9,3x62 is a great choice. Just work on game! Essentially everything I ever hit with one of mine was simply DRT. Should feed very well when built from a 30-06.
