Hi friends I have a Mossberg 4x4 30-06 by accident that bends the barrel can use their action to make a custom 300 WSM or a 338win mag??? thank you for your responses

I really don't think the Mossberg is a good platform at all for a custom. Changing to the calibers you mention would require bolt modification and other details, I'm sure. If it were me, I'd send it to Mossberg and ask them to replace the barrel with a factory version.

How is your trigger pull on it? I have a friend who bought one and AFTER reworking the best he got was 6 pounds. His gunsmith told him that all that can be done is cut springs now, but that the rivets on the trigger housing are not a standard type so he is hesitant to remove them without replacements. This leads me to believe I would send it back to the factory for rebarrel, sounds like they have parts that are not common in the industry.
