Pillar bedding counterbore
What is the best source for a counter bore for pillar bedding Remingtom and Winchester actions?

I tried a 9/16 drill and would prefer a piloted counterbore.

I checked Brownells and thought that they were a bit pricy

Anybody have one they want to sell?

Check the yellow pages for "tool and cutter grinding" and have them take a drill bit and grind a pilot on it.

But be VERY careful and drill from both sides so it don't chip out on you. Don't use a hand power drill either, put it in a drill press and go slow, if you must.
