Just a quick follow-up to report on the Browning/Miroku Rebarrel. Ray in Seattle and Mr. Hughes offered some advice regarding disassembly/reassembly, and it glad to say it was very uneventful, and I can stick the procedure away in my "bag of tricks" for later. The rifle is now chambered for the 6BR Norma round in a 1:8 twist Krieger. I shaped a quick replacement forearm to preserve the inletting of the original and better suit the rifle's new role. Preliminary range report is 2" 5-shot groups @ 300 yards during initial break-in, so it should be a satisfying rifle to shoot once we get to know each other. Thanks again for the help.
