I just picked up a Ruger 44 carbine autoloader. The only problem is the previous owner tried to restock the rifle with a ridiculous piece of home made aluminum chassis BS that he machined in his garage at home. Needless to say, it needs a new stock. Any idea who sells drop in replacements? Brownells doesn't have anything. I haven't checked Midway yet. Any suggestions where to t start?

Thaks

I just googled "replacement stock for Ruger 44 magnum rifle."
Seems to be a few options. Brian

Google must be liking you better than me today. IO did find a reference to a shop back east that is supposed to be "the" source for odd Ruger bits and pieces. Thanks

As silly as the Tacticool guys are about aluminum chassis, somebody might pay good money for a "one of a kind custom built chassis" for that rifle.

Did you ask him what he did with the original stock?

First thing that I did, he got rid of it in favor of his home made chassis system.
