I managed to restock a Whelen CDL with a take-off 30-06 TI stock. With the CDL bottom metal and Leupy 2-5-8, the rifle comes in at 7 pounds. I would like to do the same thing with a 700 stainless in 300SAUM (8 pounds bare), but I can't find a take-off. Did Bell& Carlson make the TI stocks? Will any short action TI stock work with the SAUM? Thanks, Stoney
