Is this company currently producing the 1885 reproductions? In checking the website it appears they are still in the machining stage after some 2 years. Interested to know if anyone has acquired their product and can comment.

They did produce a first run of guns last year. I don't know exactly how many but at least 4 complete rifles were built and delivered to members of our gun club here in Louisiana. They were complete custom rifles built to the buyers specs with select grade wood.
