My buddy has had this on his mantel for a while. He finally finished it.

16 ga, twist finish Belgiam, Pieper,
Manhattan Arms

Rented a dent remover to take care of the barrel.
Slimmed down the stock and fitted a steel buttplate.

Carol did the checkering.

Rustblue but the color is a bit funky.

Very cool old shotgun; contact MDStewart; guns of this vintage and older, are all he shoots, regularly.

I've done a half dozen or so in the last 10yrs, 12s ,16s , and a 10. Shot them all. Fun old guns, sold all but one to CAS guys.

Smokeless loads of the right pressures are just fine.
