I need to find one of the leather add-on pads for a rifle; the ones that slip over the original butt and are velcro'ed on. I saw one at the SCI show at Trader Keith's but didn't have the size of the butt. Tried to email and found out the website is down. Anyopne else sell one?

I purchased a pachmayr one for an older shotgun i purchased that had been cut. It does give you the pad, but I found it really didnt fit all that tightly, so when you mounted the gun, it would slide a little. I would not recommend it. Have one permanently added. a much better option.

I have not recieved a Dunn's Catalog in a couple of years, but they always had them listed. If I needed one, I would start there.

Jim;
Try www.connecticutshotgun.com that
will get you into the Galazan catalog and
they are listed under "shooting accessories".
$38.00 not cheap, but high quality.

The one I have is marked 'ACTION ideas in motion 2606L L' on the Butt plate side. Nice leather. Cost around $25 from Cabelas if they still carry them. Has about 1/2" of recoil absorbing material in it. Use it for testing loads from bench in conjunction with a PAST shoulder pad. I'm a recoil wimp.
