Yep no problem

Has to be the imp version though; standard 06 chambers taper too much to clean up the original 308 chamber; you will have two shoulders, which will look funny.

Be sure to do a chamber cast first so you have the exact dimensions of the existing chamber. You then can compare with the chamber reamer drawing from the reamer maker.

Not an answer to your original question, but is the action long enough to take full advantage of the new chambering?
