Besides Dan Pederson, who do you know for certain that will rebore a barrel to .423. I have contacted about six that I have found on the internet and NONE of them were set up to do it, nor were willing to. Yes, I know I can have it re-barreled, but thats not what I want. Thanks, Lance

Well, who was it, then? With Pac-Nor gone for the moment, I don't know of anyone making that size barrel new, either.

Yes, the oldest, and best barrel maker in the country is making them; Douglas. Check their web site, or call Stan; the nicest, and most responsive, barrel company I have ever dealt with, by far. They have a ton of standard contours, and more custom ones than anyone else in their CNC lathe, and will also contour any barrel you send them. And I buy a lot of barrels. Reboring? No.

McGowen used to make a .424, but it seems they don't any longer. Too bad as they are pretty helpful and they make oversized barrels that fit the P14/P17 actions.
