I have a stock that needs scratched on a little. Is there anyone out there just getting started that's looking for some work?

I have been trying to checker for 40 years and it still looks like a chimpanzee did it. You do not want me to try, and I have an MMC electric tool, which makes mistakes come much faster than hand tools.

I had the idea that I was going to do checkering. I didn't think it could be harder than basket stamping leather. Boy I was wrong.

I'm not afraid of having a little oops on it.

What have you got, what do you want in the way of pattern, and what is your budget?
I've been checkering one or two stocks a year for the last dozen or so years. Not a Monte Kennedy but I do get repeat clients. PM me if you wish to discuss further.

dpcd...it sounds like your MMC tool may be defective. I'd be willing to haul it to the dump for you. Whistling
