My buddy has Rem 7400 mag with a slot cut in the bottom. The rifle was sold (thank god) and he CRS.

Is there supposed to be a button in it. It's brand new.

Every one I remember did have a lever with a button on it there, It was to unlock the mag from the gun, so you could them start the agonizing process of attempting to get it to come out! hilbily

That mag would be okay for a pump , but without the bolt release , it's going to be a pain in the but in an autoloader !


Don't forget to have your Liberals spayed or neutered !

The lever on the mag is not the mag release. May be that why you had a hard time getting them out.
