i,am wanting to obtain a replacement stock for a rem 221 fb clasic my buget is small and i have it down to a b&c medalist with alum bedding block or a hs precision which also has alum block ,i ,am no g-smith soi need to keep it to a drop and go hopefully any opinions?,thanks bucster

You may want to try calling Remington. I tried and am very happy with the synthetic that they sent me for my 700 varmint for $267 with aluminum blocks. It is a perfect fit.
