I am looking for a gunsmith that can re-barrel my CZ-24 to this caliber. Does any one know a smith that had this reamer? Thanks

You may have your heart set on the 375-06 AI, but if not, take a look at the 375 Hawk-Scovill. Very close to same thing as the AI maybe a tad more case capacity and lots of data available. Based on the 30-06. Fred Zeglin has reamers, dies and data - maybe even some brass. At www.z-hat.com I have the 338 version and I'm happy with it.

I have a set of RCBS 375 Whelen AI dies :-) just haven't got around to doing this project. Thought it would be a natural on a Springfield '03 action that I have.

Speaking of which Z-Hat has the 375-06 AI listed on their "More Chamber Reamers!" page, so there you go. Then again, for the $455 you'd spend on that, I see stainless/synth Model 70's in .375 H&H going for "only" about $200 more. -Not that I'd own a stainless hunting rifle. Just options, you know. I suppose you're not so interested in the heavy-hitting anyway, or you'd be asking about the .375-.338 or .375 Dakota, eh? [ 05-24-2003, 09:48: Message edited by: Bwana-be ]

Although called the 375 Whellen AI, I paid for a new reamer to be sent to IT&D Custom Guns and had mine made there. I recommend IT&D, but make sure to specify that the feed rails be altered if necessary. Dave didn't, but I've since remedied the problem. He'll do what you tell him, so tell exactly. ~~~Suluuq (330) 868-6867 , Dave
