instaled a mark X trigger on a 1932 peruvian action, but can't lift bolt unless trigger is loose, instaled .065 shim between receiver and trigger housing and works perfect. I can't jar sear to make it fire, just wondering if this is a common problem,as I've never had it happen before. No matter where you go or what you do there you are! Yes tis true and tis pity but pity tis, tis true.

I'm not familiar with the Mark X trigger. I do know that if you set a Timney with too little over travel, you end up with the problem you've described. Try backing the over travel screw out a bit and see if the problem goes away. Mark Pursell

That Mkx trigger is designed for a commercial speedlock sear not the military sear. The notches are different. Need to either get a Timney trigger or a commercial speedlock sear from a Mkx.
