b beyerTom at TM Stockworks does a great job. Phone no. is 260-485-5389.
Another excellant one is a girl that I just had paint a pic. of my dog on a stock for me. She claims not to be a pro. but her work is as good as I have ever seen. Her name is Sue Ware and she can be reached at email address sware1@centurytel.net After the job she did for me I will never have another stock painted without at least talking to her first. As a point of interest, her husband is a great BR smith if anything else has to be done to a gun. Tell her Bob Beyer said to give her a call, really great lady.

butchlambertI like Tom Meredith, but I don't think you can beat Michael Kavanaugh. I believe it is paintfumes@hotmail.com
He has been doing this since he was a young kid. His Dad had a custom car and Harley shop. He understands product and its application. I can email photos if you want.

b beyerSorry, Mike slipped my mind for the moment. His work is as good as it gets also. If I remember right his lead time was very long and the reason I went somewhere else.

butchlambertBob,
I think he has a little more time now. He joined the Navy on a program that pays for him to finish his Masters degree, earns enlisted pay, and will go to OCS when he graduates. I am furnishing him an AR15 with a John Holliger upper and a Geissele trigger for service rifle competition. He will come by and pick it up this weekend. He is one of the few young people that yes sirs and no mams everybody. I have known him for about 7 years and he still has to call me Mr. Lambert.

b beyerI didn't know that about him, although I have heard that he was a real gentleman. I did not realize that he was as young as he must be to be doing w3hat he is. For a guy to be as good as he is at anything, they normally have had to be at it for more years then he has from what you say. I have seen some of his work at BR matches, and as you say it is beautiful.
