rechambering to .243 and want to put in a magazine spacer block-shorten the mag well -for this caliber.
have not done this in past,so what is best way to do this?

Bend a light sheet metal part that can be epoxied in place. You'll need a short follower too.

I've used Delrin plastic. Its very easy to work with.
