I have a Winchester M52 rifle I would like to rebuild into a nice accurate sporter. Can anyone recommend someone to do a high quality rebarrel job? Also looking for a stock maker that can provide fully inletted unfinished hi grade stock.

I can't point you to anyone but can offer some ideas. I did one years ago.

I used the issue barrel but shortened it. Left it chubby. It is a match quality barrel, why replace it? I copied a M-52 sporter stock very closely. I did a better job on the details than the factory wood though. I used an ebony tip, Griffin & Howe cheekpiece, correct factory checkering pattern, Neidner butplate and grip cap, Controll rings and bases, and a Leupold scope. Used Fajen wood, they used to make a M-52 semi inleted stock. Sprang for fancy wood. Did an in the wood finish. It is extremely attractive and classic looking. It handles like a full sized rifle.
Things I would do different, figure a way to dump the cheezie trigger guard, use better butplate and grip cap and maybe find some super grade sling swivels.

Enjoy your project, sounds great.
