does anyone have a suggestion for me: what are one's options when it comes to a new magazine for a M70? Specifically, my project involves the conversion of a M70 from 30 06 to 375. I require a new magazine and follower. I am thinking of using Williams bottom metal but not sure how to address the magazine issue.

Call Winchesters' parts dept. and order direct from them. They should still have them in stock unless it's a pre 64.

Thank you. They are M70 Classics and the recording said the parts dept was closed until Monday when I called earlier today.

So, that would be a 375 magazine, follower and magazine spring?

The magazine spring is the same as the '06.
