Ruger (RSM) to 450 Rigby Conversion Question
After much input on my RSM to 500 Jeffery conversion question I feel that it is too risky at this point to preform the conversion given the risk that it might not work as well as I would like. I understand the passion that many have towards the 470 MBOGO. Given this will be a gun range shooter 99.9% of the time I am drawn towards using the plentiful .458 projectiles.

Does anyone see a problem with converting my 375 H&H RSM into 450 Rigby? I think that I can use a standard RSM 416 Rigby mag box, mag follower and just rebore and adjust the feed rails. Is there anything else I should be concerned with?

Thanks Again

Why not just get an RSM (or convert yours if you feel you must) in a Lott? Lots of pluses to that. Factory ammo. Ability to use 458 win. 458 bullets.

I have one if you want to meet at tri-county and shoot it sometime.
