I want to replace the trigger on my 7mm Ruger MK II. What would be the best route Rifle Basix or Timny? Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I've installed both in Ruger 77's, and the Rifle Basix is the best. With the Timney, you must "fit" the trigger to the safety for the safety to work. Rifle Basix has a better idea, where no fitting is required. The fitting with the Timney is a trial and error proposition, where stock must be removed from a metal shelf on the trigger by using a file. If you remove too much, you have a real problem, and you may possibly have to buy another trigger. Not to mention that you have no safety operation. And, every time you file away a little stock from the trigger shelf, you must re-install it to check if it works? I had to do that TOO many times till I got it right. The Rifle Basix concept is so simple, and effective, I now wouldn't consider using any other trigger. Break is Great too...

Those triggers are eaisly tuned down to 2-2.5 lbs and break like glass when done by a decent gunsmith. And it costs less than a new trigger.
