I was wondering which model of macmillan rifle stock is found on the model 700 ks mountain rifle from the remington custom shop, anyone have any idea??

McMillan people very good to get along with and probably would advise if you called them???? Just a suggestion.

The Remington Custom Shop KS stock is one of Remington's own design. While it is produced by McMillan, you can't buy one from McMillan. They have an agreement with Remington that ensures Remington is the only source.

If you call and ask Kelly about it, he'll try to sell you their version of the Mountain Rifle stock, which he thinks is a better pattern.

If you order a stock from McMillan with the "KS Fill", it will come built with the same fill as the Remington Custom Shop stock.

The only way to get a KS stock is to buy a take off from someone who purchased a whole rifle, or buy the whole rifle yourself.
