Has any one bought any actions from them? I would like to get a few of there (model 1938) actions made in 1945 just for the action. Any information would be appericated. Thank you Joe | ||

You don't want a 1945 production mauser, keep looking. Just about the absolute worst year in the history of Mauser. Look for a prewar, but in leau of finding those avoid all 1944 and 1945 rifles. Quality tanked, think it was mostly slave labor at some point. To me they are work 1/2 what the other milsurps are and then I would wonder how good of a deal I got. Sarco can have decent deals problem is poor pictures and not really knowing what your getting. I know I could walk thee the shop and find stuff I like, but its a crap shoot through the internet. I just looked at the site where are you finding those? I didn't see them ( I did see a Husky 98 that might be interesting ). | |||

I chatted with them on thier Husqvarna guns since a few of the Husky models used commercial FN actions (M/98), but they were out unless you were okay with 3 or more holes tapped in the side. Otherwise they had the 'strengthened' M/38 version of the 1896 Swedish Mauser and the commercial version of the M/96. | |||
