My pre-64 model 70 came without a front sight hood. I would like to replace it and was wondering if the hood for the current model 70 will fit the pre-64. If not, where could I find the correct one? Thanks in advance.

The Pre-64 hoods are often auctioned on E-Bay.

Thanks Glen71. There's one up for bid now. However, I already ordered one from Numrich. It's not original, but hopefully it will be okay. If not, I'll check back with Ebay.

If you need sight hoods, solid red Winchester recoil pads, action bolts, etc. for the Pre-64 M70, try Galazan/Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company.
