Anyone have any experience with Wind River Barrels, specifically their octogon barrels as far as bore finish, fouling, relative accuracy? Seems to be an awful reasonable price ($255 @ Midway) for an octogon barrel. Nothing is ever free, so is there a catch? Are they profiling their own blanks or someone elses?

I have one. It is still not on a rifle however. Maybe next spring. It was an octogon but I had it turned half round by my gunsmith. There have been several ask about these barrels but I am not sure that I am not the only one that has actually purchased one! Check out the Website and ask them directly about their barrels.
