After tacnoic ended in the spring of '98 I had a little spare time on my hands. I figured an action that is a cross between a m-70,m-98 and m-76dak, would be fun. I basically taught myself cad with this project bought a cnc 2 axis proto-trac mill and cut out three of these actions that i call the Satterlee African. Designed for the Rigby and the Gibbs, it has a .750 dia bolt, controlled round feed, beefed up m-70 stlye trigger, 98 guide rib on the bolt,
Dakota stlye bolt stop only reverse rotation, 3 position safety. I'm still kicking a few ideas around for these. Probably finsh the other two actions into rifles and go the Africa and punch holes in critters, should be the next most fun thing to do other than stand in front of a mill and eat metal chips for entertainment.

I'd love to take a look at these but, your photos aren't readable.
