For those wanting a simple way to machine flutes on a chamber reamer this devise can be made for under $80. A 60T gear will advance 6 deg per tooth so every 12 teeth will give an even spacing for a 5 flute reamer or cherry cutter. ![]() A more complex dividing tool could be made by employing a second gear ![]() Hold still varmint; while I plugs yer! It's also very easy to make a 36 to 1 divider from the worm and clutch shaft of a SB apron. It won't look as neat as the one shown. Kenny | |||
