I have not had much experience with Remington 700's and recently purchased a used Sendero. When I slowly work the bolt to remove a fired case, the bolt face "lets go of the case" and lays it on top of the magazine follower. However, if I work the bolt briskly, the casing clears the receiver with ease. Do I have a problem or do I need to get used to push feeds? Thanks. Matt

Sounds to me like you have an ejector issue. Either it is hanging up or the spring is bad or both. If everything is working once the case mouth clears the front ring of the action the ejector should toss it. Momentum is probably tossing the case when you do it quickly. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

Actually, you probably have an extractor which isn't getting a real good bite. This may be the fault of the extractor or the bolt face counterbore may be too large. Probably the former. Short cartrides are more of a problem than long ones in this situation. Regards, Bill
