I am looking for several sets of screws/bolts depending on what you want to call them for pillar bedding Rem 700 and Win 70 rifles.

What I need are the following sizes 1/4-28 3" and 1/4-32 3" I called local fastner houses and they have 1/4-28 2 1/2 fastners but not 1/4-32 fastners.

Any ideas where to find these items? The Brownells inletting screws and guides are not what I am looking for.

You won't find any 1/4-32 screws at the parts store. You will have to order a die from someplace like Rutland Tool and make your own. If you want 2 1/2 inch socket heads you can buy 4" long screws and cut the threaded section off and rethread to 32tpi.
